Hunger Strike, Day 13. About the Regime’s Human Rights Defender: Political Prisoner Narek Samsonyan
Warm greetings from the "Armavir" Penitentiary. On January 19, during the protest held in front of the "Human Rights Defender" (HRD) office—a structure ostensibly endowed with the protection of human rights but which, in our current reality, has become the Regime’s HRD—an offer was made to the representatives of our team to go upstairs and meet regarding the issue.
After becoming acquainted with the content of the meeting, frankly speaking, I found little cause for surprise, but I wish to make a few cornerstone observations for the future. Generally, in the future, we must treat the Ombudsman institution, and especially its staff, seriously. Preference should be given not to pampered boys who "haven't seen the streets" and who subsequently fill themselves with grotesque vocabulary derived from their own education, but to practical specialists who have established themselves through their own life experience.
Anyway, let’s get to the content. As a result of the conversation at the "HRD" office with employees who used grotesque vocabulary seasoned with various complex subordinate clauses, we can conclude that:
1. Our arrest and illegal imprisonment are considered lawful by them.
2. They do not see a need for a public reaction, yet they inform international structures and other places via their so-called "other toolkits" that what is happening to us is entirely lawful and there is no cause for concern (by the way, even the case of Samvel Vardanyan, who was subjected to torture, did not find a place in the 2024 annual report).
3. They (like the regime) deeply despise both human rights and all international conventions when it concerns the regime's opponents.
We can factually state that the opinion formed among the public regarding the Ombudsman prior to this was not only true, but they have confirmed it through their own presence and radiant sentences—namely, Aram Minasyan, Andranik Yeghoyan, Edgar Martirosyan, and Laura Gevorgyan. Now you might say, "all of this was clear even without meeting them," and I agree, but the individuals signing off on all of this were not clear.
Now we know who, besides Anahit Manasyan, is responsible for the destruction of the Ombudsman institution and its transformation into a sanitary worker meant to please the authorities. For me personally, the identification of the individuals forming part of the regime’s illegalities, and holding absolutely everyone accountable for their share in the future, is very important.
All of this will end sooner or later, and we will ruin our future if those serving today's regime change their hats tomorrow and appear in the ranks of the next government.
P.S. It is the 13th day of my hunger strike; nothing has changed in my mind and convictions, and my body is still serving my political agenda.

Grève de la faim, 13ème jour. À propos de la Défenseuse des Droits du Régime : le prisonnier politique Narek Samsonyan
Salutations chaleureuses depuis l'établissement pénitentiaire d'« Armavir ». Le 19 janvier, lors de l'action menée devant le bureau de la « Défenseuse des droits de l'homme » (DDH) — une structure censée protéger les droits de l'homme mais devenue, dans notre réalité actuelle, le DDH du régime — une proposition a été faite aux représentants de notre équipe de monter et de se réunir pour discuter du problème.
Après avoir pris connaissance du contenu de la réunion, honnêtement, j'ai eu peu de raisons d'être surpris, mais je souhaite faire quelques constats fondamentaux pour l'avenir. En général, à l'avenir, il faudra traiter l'institution du DDH, et particulièrement son personnel, avec sérieux. La préférence ne devra pas être donnée à des garçons douillets qui « n'ont jamais vu la rue » et qui se gargarisent ensuite d'un vocabulaire grotesque issu de leur propre éducation, mais à des spécialistes pratiques qui se sont forgés par leur propre expérience de vie.
Quoi qu'il en soit, venons-en au contenu. À la suite de la conversation au bureau du « DDH » avec des employés usant d'un vocabulaire grotesque assaisonné de diverses phrases subordonnées complexes, nous pouvons conclure que :
1. Notre arrestation et notre détention illégale sont légitimes à leurs yeux.
2. Ils ne voient pas la nécessité d'une réaction publique, mais informent les structures internationales et d'autres instances, via ce qu'ils appellent « d'autres boîtes à outils », que ce qui nous arrive est tout à fait légal et qu'il n'y a pas lieu de s'inquiéter (d'ailleurs, même le cas de Samvel Vardanyan, victime de torture, ne figurait pas dans le rapport annuel de 2024).
3. Ils méprisent profondément (tout comme le régime) tant les droits de l'homme que toutes les conventions internationales lorsqu'il s'agit des opposants au régime.
Nous pouvons factuellement constater que l'opinion publique formée jusqu'à présent autour du DDH était non seulement vraie, mais qu'ils l'ont confirmée par leur propre présence et leurs phrases rayonnantes — à savoir Aram Minasyan, Andranik Yeghoyan, Edgar Martirosyan et Laura Gevorgyan. Vous me direz alors : « tout cela était clair même sans les rencontrer », je partage cette opinion, mais les personnes qui étaient derrière tout cela n'étaient pas identifiées.
Nous savons désormais qui, outre Anahit Manasyan, est responsable de la destruction de l'institution du DDH et de sa transformation en agent sanitaire au service du pouvoir.
Pour moi personnellement, l'identification des personnes participant aux illégalités du régime et le fait de demander des comptes à chacun d'entre eux à l'avenir sont très importants.
Tout cela finira tôt ou tard, et nous détruirons notre avenir si ceux qui servent le régime d'aujourd'hui changent de casquette demain pour apparaître dans les rangs du prochain gouvernement.
P.S. C'est mon 13ème jour de grève de la faim, rien n'a changé dans mon esprit et mes convictions, mon organisme continue de servir mon agenda politique.
